Online reviews are one of the first things people look at when buying a product or choosing a service. In fact, 79 percent of shoppers say they trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. We live in a society that’s heavily influenced by online reviews, which is why it’s crucial to get as many reviews backing your business as possible.
We asked a few industry experts to share some tips on getting positive reviews from their clients. Here’s what they had to say:

“We take care of the customer’s needs and ensure the quality of our work! We communicate well with our customers to keep services running smoothly and in a timely fashion. I think that truly sets us apart and customers want to leave positive feedback for others to lean on when they are in a similar situation.” –
– Dennis Thrower, Owner of Kelley Klean
“We encourage each and every person who has interaction with the client to simply ask for the review. Especially if the client tells us that they are happy with our services. We tell them that the best thing they can do for our company, or the individual in our company that they are working with, is to leave us a Google review. People will rarely leave you a positive review if you don’t ask for it. Ask for it, and multiple times throughout the job. The clients will respond.”
– Nick Lambert, Owner of Faithful Restoration

“As a small business in a growing community, our team understands the value of maintaining a positive reputation for our company and has leveraged reviews and how we do business to help get the word out about our services. We have embraced a client-centered culture where we go above and beyond to make each interaction with clients a positive one, and our entire team, from project managers to field techs, ask our clients to give us Google and Facebook reviews so other people in need of our services can learn what it is like to work with our team.”
– Matthew A. Cavanaugh, President of Five Valleys Restoration & Cleaning Inc.
